C12 Invincible Martial Arts
Ding Yuhuan carved a path of destruction, launching a straight punch at a burly man with a stubbly face.
He was ready for her, summoning a pale blue light that formed a shield in front of him, effectively blocking the force of her punch.
Bang!
But he had gravely underestimated Ding Yuhuan's power. The light shield shattered in an instant, scattering into glimmers that vanished into the air.
In that moment, a surge of energy erupted from Ding Yuhuan's arms, howling like a fierce wind. Her movements were lightning-fast as she raised her arms high and brought her forearms crashing down onto the man's shoulders.
"You're asking for it!" The man was clearly enraged. He bore no ill will towards her, yet she was relentlessly attacking as if to take his life, which was baffling to anyone.
His ability allowed him to manipulate the moisture in the air, and he could partially liquefy his body, but he was not capable of fully liquefying himself.
As her attack came out of nowhere, his shoulders turned to liquid.
Boom! Boom!
Ding Yuhuan's arms struck what felt like the surface of a tranquil lake, sending ripples through the air, yet failing to inflict any real damage.
The man's strength was nearing the Injury Level, which was formidable given the early stages of the Heaven Earth Mutation.
Ding Yuhuan, however, had been training in the Eight Extreme Fist from a young age, and was exceptionally gifted. Even before the Heaven Earth Mutation, she was already a Great Expert with Strength Transforming abilities. After becoming an Evolver and consuming the Ancient Fruit twice, her body underwent significant transformations, particularly after the second modification, which led to a major breakthrough in her physical capabilities.
Ancient Martial Arts are categorized into Bright Strength, Dark Strength, Strength Transforming, and Core Clasping.
Reaching Core Clasping means one would generally not be weaker than a cultivator at the Essence Refining Qi Transforming stage.
Should a martial artist break through Core Clasping, they would be a cultivator who has entered the Dao through martial arts, an Essence Refining Qi Transforming cultivator with formidable strength, comparable even to those who have formed their Primordial Spirit.
According to the strength level hierarchy among Evolvers, she was nearly on par with a Great Expert at the 'Strong' level.
Even if the obese man was at the pinnacle of his level, he stood no chance against her.
Ding Yuhuan's initial attack may have failed, but she was far from out of options.
Her vigor was extraordinary and elusive. Her knees, as hard as steel, combined with her potent energy, were utterly unstoppable.
She delivered a rapid succession of knee strikes to the fat man's abdomen, piercing through it and causing blood and flesh to burst from his waist in a gory spectacle.
"Why hasn't the gatekeeper uncle arrived yet? Wasn't there a strict rule against causing trouble within Chen Village?"
Having seen Ding Yuhuan's formidable power, many Evolvers on the scene were struck with fear. They no longer dared to confront her, yet their pride prevented them from fleeing, creating an awkward tension. Internally, many were cursing the situation and even hoping for the village gatekeeper to make a swift appearance.
"You need to figure out a way to preserve the bodies; I have plans for them." Ding Yuhuan recalled this directive and continued her assault while discreetly handling the corpses of the Evolvers she had slain.
Curiously, wherever she went, the bodies would inexplicably vanish, as if by some sleight of hand.
But with the sense of crisis palpable, this detail went largely unnoticed.
"Mad woman! I am the chief disciple of Qing Yang, from the Qing Yang Sect of Kunlun. Your sins are grievous, and today, I shall act as an agent of the heavens to cleanse the blood from your hands!" A man dressed in a brocade robe, wielding a flying sword, and sporting long black hair, pointed his sword directly at Ding Yuhuan, looking as though he stepped out of ancient times.
"What a farce! There are no immortal sects or real immortals in this world. You're just another deluded fool who's taken his act too far." Ding Yuhuan scoffed. Since the Evolution Path had opened, there had been a surge of individuals claiming to be disciples of various immortal sects, each with some measure of skill, but none particularly formidable.
Perhaps there really is a method for achieving immortality in this world, but why would anyone with such knowledge broadcast it indiscriminately? To go around proclaiming, "I possess the Immortal Technique; I can cultivate to become an immortal" seems unlikely.
"How dare you! The sacred grounds of the immortal sect are not for someone as lowly as you to insult!" The man in the brocade robe, his face flushed with anger, gripped his sword tightly and pointed its tip at Ding Yuhuan, closing in on her with rapid movements.
"Nine Profound Sword Spell!"
He bellowed, and the long sword in his hand multiplied into numerous illusory shadows, encircling him and pointing each blade directly at Ding Yuhuan.
"The sword is the sharpest of weapons, yet you disgrace it so. To still claim the title of swordsman is utterly laughable." Ding Yuhuan showed no fear; she had long realized that her opponent was all show and no substance, capable of a few Sword Spells but lacking the strength to back them up.
"Wretch, hold your tongue!"
Enraged, the man in the brocade robe levitated, aligning himself with the direction of the long sword as illusory sword shadows enveloped him, thrusting towards his adversary.
His once confident attack fell short as he found himself vastly outmatched in strength and speed by Ding Yuhuan. As he neared her, she vanished from his sight.
Ding Yuhuan's slender figure soared upwards, twisting her body sideways in midair, raising her arm high and driving her elbow downward as she plummeted.
Thud!
She breezed through the sword shadows unimpeded, landing squarely on the man's back. Her elbow hammered down on his neck with a sharp crack, his head grotesquely twisting backward, his neck clearly broken by the force of the blow.
Without pausing after dispatching the man in the brocade robe with such nonchalance, she swiftly approached a disheveled middle-aged man. Without a moment's hesitation, her palm struck his head, twisting it a full 180 degrees.
With so many fallen, the Evolvers could no longer afford to be passive. Many had begun to form teams to bolster their power, while others, skilled in the art of assassination, lurked in the shadows, biding their time to deliver a lethal strike to Ding Yuhuan.
Yang Xiaoyan was deeply furrowed in thought. She neither evaded nor joined forces with other Evolvers, aware that Ding Yuhuan did not consider her a target.
"Not enough," Ding Yuhuan murmured expressionlessly. As she glanced up and noticed a large gathering of Evolvers, her pupils contracted, and she propelled herself forward with bullet-like speed.
This time, she wasn't unarmed. Almost imperceptibly, as she moved, her wrist flicked, and a round ball emanating purple light materialized in her grasp. The emergence of the ball was accompanied by the immediate diffusion of an eerie aura.
Ding Yuhuan moved with such velocity that by the time the peculiar aura had begun to spread, she was already confronting a group of Evolvers. Her internal energy burst forth, unleashing an invisible oppression that enveloped the area.
The most formidable among these Evolvers was merely at the Injury Level, with the majority at the early stages of their respective levels, possessing modest combat strength. Ding Yuhuan's energy was of the Strength Transforming caliber, intangible and elusive. Having evolved twice, her combined strength was at least at the Strong Level. Once she unleashed her energy, few could resist it.
Her energy served to briefly subdue them, but her true intent was to wield the purple round ball in her hand.
