C19 Escape White Ape Clan

The white ape collided with a man clad in black, and to Wang Pingfan's astonishment, the ape was sent flying. Wang Pingfan surmised that the white ape's strength was on par with a human Three-star Martial Master. This meant the man in black must be at least a Four-star Martial Master. What were two men dressed in black doing in the outer reaches of Mount Tempest, and why did they attack without provocation? Could they be from the Zhao or Qian families?

The two men in black seemed even more surprised than Wang Pingfan, not expecting to encounter such a powerful beast on the fringes of Mount Tempest. Enraged, the white ape got to its feet, ready to charge again, but Wang Pingfan stepped in front of it. The ape looked puzzled; the punch had thrown it, yet it wasn't hurt. Why was Wang Pingfan holding it back? Nevertheless, the ape halted.

The men in black were astounded. This beast was remarkably human-like, even obeying Wang Pingfan's commands. They exchanged glances and decided to launch a joint attack. Wang Pingfan faced them alone, but instead of throwing a punch, he channeled his Spiritual Qi to shield his chest, bracing for their assault. The men in black were delighted, thinking him foolish to withstand their combined strike.

As expected, their fists slammed into Wang Pingfan's chest, sending him flying back, blood spurting from his mouth. Yet, in his grasp were two pieces of black cloth. In the moment of impact, Wang Pingfan had snatched the cloths covering the assailants' faces. Quickly getting back on his feet, he confirmed his suspicion: the attackers were indeed elders from the Zhao family, whom he had seen during a tournament.

Their strength was at the five-star Martial Master level, far beyond what he could currently contend with. The Zhao family elders, now with their identities revealed, coldly taunted, "Wang Pingfan, even if you know who we are, you won't survive the day." Exchanging a glance with the white ape, Wang Pingfan turned and fled.

Despite its impulsive nature, the white ape was far from foolish. Upon its second encounter with Wang Pingfan, it sustained injuries and wisely retreated to its cave, demonstrating a level of intelligence. Like an impetuous child, it recognized the formidable strength of the two adversaries and chose to flee without hesitation. In its escape, the ape even managed to mockingly flip them the middle finger, prompting the men in black to intensify their pursuit.

Before long, two elders from the Zhao family had caught up. Wang Pingfan feared the worst, knowing they were a considerable distance from the base of Mount Tempest. In a surprising turn of events, the white ape beside him hoisted him up and began leaping from tree to tree, quickly putting distance between them and their pursuers.

The chase continued relentlessly until, after four hours, the white ape's strength began to wane, and its pace slowed. The Zhao family elders, though winded, maintained their pursuit without faltering. Suddenly, the white ape let out a series of thunderous roars, baffling not only the Zhao elders but Wang Pingfan as well. Could shouting really make it move faster? Within the time it took an incense stick to burn, the elders had closed the gap to less than twenty meters.

Then, the white ape came to an abrupt halt and set Wang Pingfan down, turning to face the Zhao family elders, who cautiously stopped, suspecting a trap. The ape's roars grew louder, and it began to pound its chest vigorously. The elders were perplexed – did the ape think its cries would deter them from attacking?

Their confusion was short-lived as they sensed something amiss. The surrounding woods came alive with rustling sounds, and one by one, demon beasts emerged. The Zhao elders were taken aback to see that each beast was of the Martial Master realm. In moments, a dozen or more had encircled them. The elders wondered what was happening. Why had these demon beasts suddenly appeared? Was it the white ape's roaring that summoned them? A realization dawned upon them.

Aren't white apes supposed to reside deep within Mount Tempest? Why then was one encountered on the outskirts? Moreover, with the demon beasts being of different species, why would they heed the white ape's command? As the two Zhao family elders were about to flee, a thunderous roar erupted from the forest's heart, turning their faces ashen with fear. Could another demon beast be approaching? The earth quaked subtly as a distant demon beast charged forward, parting the others who bowed in deference, seemingly in anticipation of a distinguished arrival.

Soon enough, a towering white ape, standing seven to eight meters tall, came into view, causing the Zhao family elders to collapse in terror, while Wang Pingfan, unable to stand, leaned on the white ape behind him. This colossal white ape radiated a wild aura more potent than that of the Rerora province's princess, signifying its status as a Martial Marquis.

The white ape approached the group, gazing affectionately at the smaller white ape. Indeed, next to this giant, the three-meter-tall creature was merely a little white ape. The white ape then turned its attention to Wang Pingfan and the Zhao family elders. A single glance was enough to make them sweat profusely and freeze in place. The little white ape shielded Wang Pingfan, pointed at the Zhao family elders, and let out several roars, while the larger white ape fixed a menacing stare upon the two men.

In that moment, the Zhao family elders felt a chill in their hearts. Demonic beasts are fiercely protective, and it was clear that this white ape was a relative of the smaller one. They had pursued too zealously, neglecting to observe their surroundings and unwittingly entering enemy territory. The white ape's furious roar preceded a devastating punch. Before the elders could react, they were pummeled into a gory mess, their weapons and armor shattered, creating a gruesomely bloody spectacle.

Wang Pingfan could barely stomach the sight, taking some time to regain his composure. Meanwhile, the little white ape joyously brandished its massive teeth over the corpses. Despite the relentless pursuit, the little white ape had not discarded its prized teeth, indicating a special attachment to them.

Before long, the large white ape, accompanied by a smaller one, guided Wang Pingfan deeper into the forest. The other menacing creatures that had been lurking around scattered. Wang Pingfan walked alongside the little white ape, with the sounds of beastly roars filling the air around him. He couldn't help but think that had he ventured here alone, he might have been devoured in mere moments.

Soon, Wang Pingfan caught sight of a vast mountain peppered with hundreds of caves. Curious white apes peeked out from some of these caverns, their gazes fixed on Wang Pingfan. It dawned on him that this must be the dwelling place of the Long-armed White Ape clan. At a roar from the large white ape beside him, numerous white apes emerged from their caves in a silent, orderly fashion, as though they were all anticipating something.

Before long, from the largest cave at the heart of the mountain, an imposing white ape emerged. Wang Pingfan watched in awe as the Long-armed White Ape, standing nearly ten meters tall, exuded an overwhelmingly powerful presence. Despite the distance, Wang Pingfan could feel the intensity of its aura.
