C17 Green Scale Fruit Giant Tusk Tiger

After a short rest, Wang Pingfan opened his eyes to find the white ape peering out at him. It approached without the rage it had shown earlier, instead pointing to its cave with a curious expression, seemingly inviting Wang Pingfan inside.

Wang Pingfan was perplexed. Could the white ape be that intelligent, or was there a hidden agenda behind its invitation?

Noticing Wang Pingfan's hesitation, the white ape became increasingly agitated, jumping and pointing insistently at the cave entrance. After some deliberation, Wang Pingfan chose to follow, reasoning that his beast armor could protect him from potential dangers.

Once inside, the white ape led the way to the back of the cave, where several fist-sized Night-Luminescent Pearls provided illumination. The cave was otherwise empty, save for a green, watermelon-like fruit at the center. The white ape gestured towards the fruit and then to Wang Pingfan, nudging it towards him.

Upon closer inspection, Wang Pingfan noticed scale-like patterns on the fruit. It dawned on him that this must be the Green Scale Fruit, a rare delicacy from the depths of Mount Tempest known for its ability to refine both spiritual energy and the physical body without the need for additional materials. However, the fruit had a sizable chunk missing and bore the mark of a bite, suggesting an animal had sampled it.

The white ape appeared eager to offer the fruit to Wang Pingfan, though the reason was unclear. As Wang Pingfan reached out to take it, the ape shielded the fruit once more, pointing at the bite mark and gesturing in a certain direction while howling. It seemed to be conveying a story.

Piecing together the clues, including a claw mark on the ape's chest, Wang Pingfan surmised that a demon beast had bitten the fruit and that the ape wanted his help in dealing with the creature in exchange for the fruit. Unsure of how to communicate, Wang Pingfan pointed at the fruit and then at himself, nodding. It was unclear whether the ape understood, but it seemed to grasp Wang Pingfan's intent, placing the fruit on the ground and approaching him.

The white ape approached Wang Pingfan and placed its palm on the ground, gesturing for him to climb aboard. Wang Pingfan gave it a glance and hopped on. The ape then hoisted Wang Pingfan onto its shoulder, ensuring he was seated securely. Once they emerged from the cave, the white ape set off in a straight line. They occasionally crossed paths with demon beasts, but these creatures fled in terror at the sight of the white ape.

Before long, the white ape led Wang Pingfan to the edge of a bamboo forest. Several white tigers emerged, growling at the ape, signaling it to back off from their territory. Undeterred, the white ape set Wang Pingfan down and let out a thunderous roar, causing the tigers to cower.

More tigers soon sprang from the forest, encircling them. There were over twenty, but they held back from attacking. Then, a tiger's roar echoed from within the forest.

A white tiger, nearly the size of the white ape, strode out. Wang Pingfan observed that the tiger stood two meters tall with a body length exceeding three meters, and its teeth were a meter long. A prominent black 'King' symbol adorned its head, and it exuded an innate air of dominance. It looked as though it had undergone some abnormal transformation. Notably, half of its face was swollen, and several fist imprints marked its body. Wang Pingfan wondered if this was the tiger that had stolen the white ape's green-scaled fruit.

The white tiger glanced at Wang Pingfan and quickly dismissed him, the disdain in its gaze unmistakable. "Great, I'm being scorned by a tiger," Wang Pingfan mused to himself.

After a brief exchange of roars, communication broke down, and the two beasts lunged into a fierce brawl. Wang Pingfan noticed the encircling white tigers closing in on him. Even the weakest among them possessed the strength of a five-star Martial Cultivator. They had been reluctant to approach with the white ape present, but now, as the ape was locked in combat with their leader, they seemed emboldened to confront the solitary human.

A fierce glint appeared in Wang Pingfan's eyes. These white tigers dared to challenge him, so it was time to see whose fists were stronger. As two tigers charged with jaws wide open, Wang Pingfan swiftly pivoted, his fists crackling with energy. The tigers were met with a brutal force, their heads bursting upon impact as they were flung aside. The remaining tigers, undeterred by the sight of their fallen comrades, let out low growls and charged fearlessly towards him.

Despite the vast disparity in strength, not one white tiger could withstand a punch from Wang Pingfan. In short order, all the white tigers lay defeated on the ground. Wang Pingfan shook out his fist, only to be met with an astonishing roar from behind. The white tiger with massive teeth had endured a punch from the white ape, yet it charged at him, eyes blazing red. It seemed incredulous that its kin had been dispatched by a human so swiftly, almost as if it wanted to devour Wang Pingfan whole.

But the white ape wasn't about to let it have its way. Springing to its feet, the ape seized the tiger's tail, hurling it with such force that it created a crater in the earth. The dazed tiger emerged from the pit, shaking its head to regain its bearings. Seizing the moment of vulnerability, both the white ape and Wang Pingfan charged. The ape clutched the tiger's massive fangs, immobilizing it, while Wang Pingfan leapt up, his body surging with Spiritual Qi. His fist resonated with explosive sounds, executing the formidable Seven Echo Fist, and struck the white tiger's head.

The white tiger struggled to evade, retreating continuously, but the white ape's grip was unyielding, leaving it no chance to fight back. Wang Pingfan's punch descended, and the tiger's head burst apart, leaving only its two enormous fangs and the beast core intact.

Wang Pingfan exhaled in relief. The white tiger had been reckless, blinded by rage, and previously wounded by the white ape in an attempt to steal the Green Scale Fruit. Otherwise, it might not have been so easily vanquished. The white ape, now brandishing the fangs with glee, resembled a child delighted by a new toy.

Wang Pingfan eyed the beast core, a Martial Master level treasure that could propel him to a new level of cultivation. He reached for it, but the white ape was quicker, snatching and swallowing it without hesitation, seemingly pleased with the taste as its aura grew stronger.

With a wry smile, Wang Pingfan could only accept the situation. After all, it was a joint effort with the white ape that had brought down the formidable tiger.

Wang Pingfan set about gathering the beast cores from the other white tigers. Before long, he and the white ape made their way back to the cave. Throughout this time, Wang Pingfan's thoughts remained fixated on the Rank Three Green Scale Fruit.
