These screams were clearly made by the small black creatures. I looked into the esophagus and saw that the Gu worms that flew out of the box were now madly drilling in. However, due to the angle, I couldn't see everything inside from where I was at the opening of the pipe.

I didn't have the leisure to investigate it myself, but even if I didn't go check it out
