I looked at the sheet of paper and smiled wryly. I glanced at the doors and windows that led to the balcony in front of me and saw that they were locked from the inside.

I also scanned the entire dorm room, and found that there weren't any traces of having been in a passive state at all. There was only a piece of paper.
