C2 Compete with Me in Squandering!

Inside Yang Chao's office, Du Tianhao and Ying glared at him with incredulous eyes.

Could this guy be any more clueless? The audacity to mock them like this?

"Tianhao, I can't stand this any longer. Put him in his place, now!" Ying fumed, her chest tight with rage.

With a disdainful snort, Du Tianhao's eyes flashed dangerously. His wealth far surpassed Yang Chao's. As the scion of Eastern Sea City's wealthiest family, his allowance was anything but modest.

"You're nothing but trash, and today, I'll give you a glimpse of what it means to be the richest in Eastern Sea City!" Du Tianhao boasted, his face brimming with arrogance.

"Just wait, your days are numbered! You can't even begin to comprehend Tianhao's wealth. His monthly allowance alone is more than your yearly earnings!" Ying's eyes bore into Yang Chao, filled with scorn.

She had always looked down on him, even back when Yang Chao played her obedient lackey.

"Alright, have you two finished your little charade? Move along, I've got students to teach," Yang Chao sighed, treating them as if they were mere children.

Compete over money? His system was designed for squandering. He spent every second figuring out how to waste money to earn system rewards. They stood no chance against him.

"He's shaking in his boots, Tianhao. You've got him scared," Ying scoffed, her eyes gleaming with triumph.

Just as she predicted, Yang Chao was still the same impoverished nobody. The mere mention of money deflated him; his earlier bravado was nothing but a facade.

Seeing Yang Chao's reaction, Du Tianhao grew even more brazen. "Teach? Don't make me laugh. What qualifies you to teach anyone? Today, I'll make you feel what it's like to have nothing!"

With that, they left Yang Chao's office. Class time had arrived, and the elderly students began to trickle in.

The community college was small, with just one classroom opposite Yang Chao's office. He was limited to only six students, the maximum allowed by his system.

Du Tianhao caught sight of an old man entering the classroom and bellowed, "Hey, old man inside! Listen up! Everyone come out and drop your classes now. I'll pay each of you ten thousand yuan!"

Yang Chao stepped out of the office just in time to hear Du Tianhao's shout. As he passed by, he didn't even spare him a glance.

To Yang Chao, these two were nothing more than clowns, hardly worth a second thought.

Engaging with them would only squander his time.

So, he strode directly into the classroom and shut the door with a resounding slam, leaving the two rigid figures outside in his wake.

...

Inside the classroom, six elderly gentlemen were seated in an orderly fashion, all looking towards Yang Chao with expressions of utmost respect.

Their teacher may have been young, but he was imparting to them an authentic manual of immortal cultivation!

At their age, life was precious. Money was merely a possession; the true tragedy was dying before spending it all.

"Sir, is someone shouting outside?" Soong Qingfeng rose to his feet. As the class representative, he was the eldest and most advanced in his practice, having reached the mid-stage of Qi Refining. He was undoubtedly Yang Chao's devoted follower.

Yang Chao nodded, a smile playing on his lips. "A couple of misguided youths outside think you should drop out, offering ten thousand yuan each for the trouble."

At these words, the old men's eyes bulged in disbelief.

"What? Ten thousand yuan? Sir, you must be joking with us. The precious Chinese medicine you provide daily for our nourishment alone is worth over fifty thousand."

"Hmph, forget ten thousand, not even a hundred thousand would make us leave. I've been studying with you for half a year, and my granddaughter-in-law says I'm getting younger by the day. My grandson is so worried he hardly dares to visit me anymore!"

"Who's that outside, trying to disrupt your class, Sir? Should we go out and give him a lesson on your behalf?"

Soong Qingfeng's face darkened, his aged features set like the bottom of a scorched pot. In a deep voice, he declared, "Nobody better try to stop me. Today, this old man is going to take down that youngster's sidekick outside!"

Watching this band of old men, who resembled a pack of bandits, Yang Chao couldn't suppress a chuckle. He mused to himself, what sort of irreverent crew had he assembled?

He chuckled and said, "Enough, let's not give them the impression we're a bunch of bandits. Remember your manners. How have I always instructed you?"

Just then, Du Tianhao, with Ying in tow, burst through the door, his face contorted with rage. "Haven't you old geezers heard? Drop out and you'll pocket ten thousand yuan!"

He was convinced Yang Chao had shut the door and forcefully kept these old men in check. Otherwise, they'd be clamoring to drop out for that kind of money—ten thousand yuan! That was a good two or three months' living expenses for an average old man!

Ying cast a disdainful glance at them, thinking to herself, these clueless fools don't even realize they've been duped. It was laughable.

His words seemed to solidify the air in the classroom; all eyes were now riveted on Du Tianhao and Ying.

Inwardly, everyone was reminding themselves not to lash out or hurl insults. The teacher had called them civilized old men... They couldn't afford to upset him.

Seeing the silent old men, Du Tianhao assumed the hefty sum had intimidated them, so he sneered and reiterated, "Hear me out, I'm talking about ten thousand yuan. A full ten thousand. You heard right! So why aren't you dropping out already?"

Yang Chao sighed softly and shook his head at the words. These two had been trying to provoke him from the start, and although he paid them no mind, he wouldn't let them interfere with his lesson.

"Enough, I'm washing my hands of this. Do as you please," Yang Chao said, offering Du Tianhao and Ying a look of sympathy before quietly taking a seat.

"Heh, you're stepping back? And who do you think you are? You think..." Ying began, looking at Yang Chao with scorn, but before she could finish, an old man in the classroom rose to his feet. It was Soong Qingfeng.

Then, an old man with impeccably groomed hair chimed in with a grin, "Young man, ten thousand? Principal Yang awards us a five hundred thousand yuan scholarship upon enrollment, and even provides single old men with eighteen-year-old female nurses, all gratis."

He added, "Here's a free tip for you: better run now, because soon you won't be able to."
