Listening to the colorful language spilling from the young people outside, Yang Chao spoke up.

"Soong Qingfeng, take note of all those outside who are cursing and carrying themselves with arrogance. If they come in later, show them the door without hesitation."

Soong Qingfeng nodded and stepped outside, where he saw a throng of people under the blazing sun, each one appearing anxious and drenched in sweat.

Among them, a few individuals stood out, strolling leisurely, seemingly in no rush at all.

"Those of you spewing profanities, please leave of your own volition. We used to recruit teachers here, not gang leaders. Doesn't it disgust you to speak like that?"

Soong Qingfeng advanced, surveying the crowd with a hint of amusement in his gaze.

He was curious to see their forthcoming reactions; people's responses were always fascinating. Some might dismiss his words, seeing him as just an old man, while others might challenge him, thinking, 'What can an old man do?'

As expected, a young man bristled with defiance. "Hey, old timer, what's with the talk? We've been waiting out here for ages. You tell us to leave, and we should just go? Who do you think you are?"

The young man, Lee Er, was known for his arrogance, never regarding anyone with importance, acting as he pleased.

If anyone here dared to cross him, he wouldn't hesitate to pin them down and unleash a tirade of insults.

"Well, young man, everything I told you is the truth. We're recruiting for the Senior University, not looking for ruffians and troublemakers. You're young, but your mouth is already causing trouble. You're bringing a bad vibe here. I suggest you leave."

Soong Qingfeng maintained a deliberate smile, forgoing his usual stern demeanor. To truly gauge a person's character, he believed, one must first observe their immediate reaction.

Instructors at Senior University must be far from ordinary; they need to possess exceptional character and patience. Otherwise, they'll find themselves on the receiving end of constant scolding and metaphorical beatings, quickly learning the value of silence.

"Old man, I'd advise you to stay out of this and keep your mouth shut. I've been waiting here for ages. Who do you think you are, telling me to leave?"

Lee Er was visibly irritated. The elderly's tendency to ramble on irked him. What was the point of their endless chatter? Didn't they realize how pointless it was?

It was particularly annoying when they repeated the same thing over and over again—a common trait among the elderly. As a young man, Lee Er felt he had no obligation to endure their pointless babble.

He had assumed his youthful vigor would be enough to dismiss the old man with a few words, but to his surprise, the man didn't budge and even seemed to be enjoying himself.

In frustration, Lee Er shoved the man several steps back, muttering curses under his breath.

"Listen, old timer, it's sweltering today. Stop your yammering and get out of my way, will you?"

The young onlookers were taken aback, unsure of how to react. They wanted to intervene but ultimately chose to remain silent.

They were young too and understood the futility of stirring up trouble here. Sometimes, it was best to keep quiet to avoid a bad outcome.

In today's world, speaking out too much could lead to personal grievances. Often, those who stay silent and out of the spotlight are the ones who stand a chance of being chosen.

Soong Qingfeng was momentarily stunned. It was the first time someone had the audacity to push him to such an extent. How could he still have any dignity left after that?

He was about to retaliate when a girl stepped forward. She was the epitome of innocence and beauty, and her impatience was palpable as she pushed Lee Er back several steps.

"You really lack manners, don't you? Treating elders with respect is a must. You clearly don't understand the concept of honoring the old and cherishing the young. And yet you're here to teach at Senior University? I suggest you leave before you make things worse for yourself."

Chu Sixue was the one who had caught her eye. She had already noticed someone here bullying an elderly person, strutting around with an air of arrogance.

Initially, she intended to let it slide without making a fuss, but as the man's comments grew increasingly offensive, her patience wore thin and she snapped.

The audacity to shove an elder was beyond shameless!

Lee Er stumbled back a few steps, bewildered, but his irritation faded when he laid eyes on such a beautiful young woman. He approached her and whispered slyly.

"Hey, you're quite the looker. Mind sharing your contact info? I've got a thing for pretty girls like you. Maybe you'd like to be my girlfriend?"

Like most men, Lee Er had a soft spot for beauty. Although he was ready to be angry, her attractiveness made it hard to stay mad. Offering a bit of courtesy didn't seem too bad.

Chu Sixue, repulsed by his sleazy demeanor and blatant disrespect for the elderly, didn't hold back and delivered a resounding slap across his face.

"Ugh! What do you think you're doing? You still have the gall to speak to me after all this? Scram, or I'll really give you something to whine about later!"

Was this guy out of his mind? To still attempt conversation at a time like this was infuriating and exasperating.

As Lee Er, unfazed by the slap, tried to edge closer, the young woman's annoyance flared. She unleashed a flurry of blows and, with sheer brute force, hurled him clear across to the next street.

Bystanders were left agape, astonished by the young woman's formidable courage as she single-handedly flung a man such a distance. Just as Lee Er was gearing up for a comeback, Soong Qingfeng had seen enough and stepped in.

A car happened to pass by, and seizing the moment, he gave the man a thrashing and dragged him into a nearby alley.
