In Foglaostein, within the city of Insasari, a meteor ablaze with red light streaked across the night sky, crashing with unstoppable force into the garden behind the Xia Mansion.
Boom!
The massive quake jolted the sleeping residents awake. Horses neighed, dogs barked, and chaos reigned in the streets of Insasari.
As the dust settled, a vast crater was revealed, and from its depths, a trembling hand emerged. Seconds later, it fell limply back down.
"Young Master, Young Master!"
"Someone come quickly, the Young Master is hurt!"
The Xia Mansion's servants' cries echoed through the air, yet despite their loud wails, none dared approach the crater, standing at a distance and howling.
"Brother, brother!"
A 16 or 17-year-old girl, clad in simple garments, ran toward the crater, tears streaming down her face. Halfway there, she was firmly grasped by a servant woman and yanked back.
A middle-aged man stepped forward from the crowd, approaching the crater to inspect it closely.
"He's alive; he won't die."
The man stated coldly. As he turned to leave, the shrill cries of hawks pierced the air.
Ten young men, adorned in fine brocade, descended from the sky on the backs of majestic hawks, landing before the man.
The middle-aged man bowed respectfully and greeted them, "I am Xia Yan of the Xia Mansion, at your service, Hawk Guards."
"What has transpired here?" inquired the Hawk Guards' leader in an icy tone.
"With regret, I report that my nephew, Xia Yi, misused our family's secret technique in an attempt to harness the power of the heavens and earth to reshape his martial spirit. Unfortunately, the technique failed, leading to the meteor's descent..."
The Hawk Guards' leader scrutinized Xia Yan, then the crater, before stepping closer and saying, "You are the patriarch of the Xia family? The queen has been alarmed by this incident. You must come with us."
Xia Yan's expression darkened as he replied, albeit unwillingly, "Yes."
The Iron Blood Hawk Guards were known to obey only the royal family's commands, embodying the very majesty of the Kisal Dynasty.
Xia Yan was escorted away by the Hawk Guards, while the lucky survivor from the meteorite crater was haphazardly carried into a room by the Xia Mansion's servants.
Half a month later...
"You are the reincarnation of the Demon Suppressing Divine Lord. Remember, once you've successfully condensed the Evil Qi, on the night of the full moon, focus the Evil Qi at your crown to open the heavens..."
"Master!"
Qiu Feng let out a startled cry, jolting awake from his slumber.
"Where am I?"
The room was old and modest, but it could be summed up in two words: clean.
"Brother, you... you're awake."
Before Qiu Feng could fully come to his senses, a woman rushed into his embrace, sobbing.
Brother? What brother?
Looking down at the weeping girl with long hair, he inhaled her subtle scent and instinctively tightened his hold.
As Qiu Feng comforted her with gentle pats on her shoulder, he pieced together the events leading up to his unconsciousness.
His master's supernatural powers were real...
That was the first thing Qiu Feng ascertained. Then came the memory of his master's words about being sent to another world.
This wasn't a dream. Could it be that I've truly arrived in another world?
"Miss, where are we? And who am I?"
"This is Insasari, the capital of the Kisal Dynasty. You are Xia Yi, the eldest son of the Xia family, and I am your sister, Xia..."
The girl lifted her head, revealing a delicate and lovely face that left Qiu Feng speechless.
Seeing her face, Qiu Feng was equally stunned.
"Brother, have you... lost your memory?"
She burst into tears once more.
Qiu Feng straightened her up and asked earnestly, "You're saying you're my sister? And I'm your brother? Are you certain you haven't mistaken me for someone else?"
The girl's face flushed with urgency, "You are the dearest person to me in this world. How could I possibly be mistaken?"
"Are you absolutely sure?"
"Without a doubt!" The girl was on the verge of tears again.
Qiu Feng examined his own body and a smile spread across his face. He instinctively reached out to pinch the girl's cheek, seeking to confirm the reality before him.
Unexpectedly, this led to a bizarre turn of events.
From atop the girl's head, a red, translucent creature emerged. The little beast brandished its claws menacingly and, in an instant, transformed into a massive hammer. A flash of red light later, the hammer came crashing down on Qiu Feng's head with a thud.
Bang!
…
Gradually coming to, Qiu Feng opened his eyes to find it was deep into the night. The girl with the large eyes and doll-like face was still there, now curled up on him like a little cat, her long eyelashes glistening with tear drops as she slept peacefully.
"If only I really had a sister like you," Qiu Feng whispered, gently stroking her hair with a soft sigh.
He felt the large lump on his head, still puzzled.
How could such a delicate girl possess so much strength? To think she knocked me out with a single punch.
Carefully, Qiu Feng eased the girl's arm aside, rose from the bed, picked her up, and tenderly placed her under the covers.
Stepping outside, Qiu Feng looked up at the night sky.
Stars dotted the expanse, and a luminous moon hung high, bathing the surroundings in its glow.
After a moment, Qiu Feng shook his head in disbelief.
Despite the familiar stars and moon above, their arrangement forced Qiu Feng to confront the reality that the world around him had indeed transformed.
"What a vast, luminous moon. It's not just different in appearance compared to the one in my memory; it's also several dozen times larger..."
"Ha! Watch out, Xia Jie! Here comes my Wolf Fang frenzy!"
"Xia Ren! Bring it on! I refuse to believe you can shatter my Tiger Stellar Energy!"
The spirited cries of youth in the distance caught Qiu Feng's attention. He paused, then followed the sounds.
In the open space before the Li residence, two teenagers, about fifteen or sixteen years old, were engaged in a fierce bout, fists meeting flesh with intense vigor.
One boy's hands glowed red as he clawed wildly at his opponent. The other, surrounded by a sudden burst of white light, repelled every assault with ease.
Crack!
The shorter boy's claw struck a nearby sapling, and with a crisp snap, the tree, as thick as a bowl, was cleaved in two by his bare hands.
Qiu Feng watched, astounded. A teenager, breaking a tree of that size with one claw? What sort of world was this? A world of freakish strength?
The other boy appeared equally formidable, effortlessly deflecting the shorter boy's relentless attacks with the protective glow of white light emanating from his body.
As Qiu Feng was getting into the spirit of the autumn breeze, the young man named Xia Jie abruptly stopped and glared at him menacingly.
"Bro, let's not fight anymore. Look who that is."
Xia Jie gestured towards Qiu Feng.
"Pfft, trash."
Xia Jie and Xia Ren both spat in disdain, not sparing Qiu Feng a second glance before walking away.
Trash? Are they talking about me?
Qiu Feng was bewildered.
The surroundings were too strange; he couldn't afford to get lost. After pondering for a moment, Qiu Feng decided to retrace his steps and return to the girl's house.
Even though he was a transmigrator, it seemed he hadn't inherited anyone else's memories. He was still himself, with the sole difference being that he was now in a new world.
Given the unpleasant demeanor of the two brothers, Qiu Feng naturally came to regard the girl as kin.
