"I'm curious to see just how formidable the Australovenator will become with these enhancements," he pondered, looking forward to witnessing the system's bolstering effects. Without hesitation, he selected all the enhancements except for body size.
His Belly, once a hefty 29 million, plummeted to a mere 10 million in an instant.
In the backyard of the inn, the resting Australovenator's eyes snapped open, a gleam of light flaring within. With a resonant hum, a powerful surge of energy erupted from its massive frame. Its grayish-green hide grew denser and more resilient, shimmering with a metallic sheen. Muscles swelled, fortifying its already formidable form, each one coiling like a dragon's sinew.
Teeth within its maw shed rapidly, replaced by new, razor-sharp fangs that gleamed menacingly. Its limbs' claws darkened to an ominous hue, radiating a chilling presence. A cloak of black light enveloped its skin, followed by a ripple of unseen force.
With newfound vigor, the Australovenator rose, its colossal tail thudding against the ground in a display of raw power.
Boom!
The earth trembled with a violent shudder, and a gaping fissure, a dozen meters wide, split open the ground.
The whole hotel quaked.
"Earthquake!"
"Run, forget your pants! Saving your life comes first!"
"Ah!"
Shouts echoed from the hotel rooms as men and women, some half-dressed, poured into the streets, creating an unexpected spectacle.
The hotel's owner, a portly middle-aged man with a two-inch mustache framing his face, was clad in an oversized outfit, his brown hair bundled up.
"Oh no, my hotel..."
Marley, with a look of anguish, gazed at the backyard's earth, his small eyes brimming with tears. He stared at the vast crevice, his plump hands shaking uncontrollably.
Bang! Bang!
The Australovenator pivoted, exuding a fearsome presence. Its draconic eyes glinted with a chilling gleam, and its once grayish-green hide had turned to a shade of bronze.
"Ah..."
Marley, petrified, collapsed to the ground, his tears abruptly ceasing as he fell silent.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Footsteps approached.
Marley glanced up to see the dinosaur's master standing behind him, a look of relief breaking across his face as he quickly scrambled to his feet to stand behind the man.
Esaki paid him no mind, his attention fixed on the Australovenator.
