C4 The Vicious Wolf Pirates
"There's always a way out."
Esaki's face broke into a smile.
To their upper right, on the sea, two ships exchanged cannon fire, one flying a pirate flag.
"Mosasaur, full speed ahead!"
He bellowed.
Buzz!
The Mosasaur, bearing their ship, surged forward, racing towards the two battling vessels.
...
Aboard the Asha Merchant Ship.
"Daddy, what do we do?"
In the cabin, Sarah, in her white princess dress with ponytails, clung to her father's arm, her eyes wide with terror.
Boom! Boom!
Bang!
Explosions rocked the ship relentlessly.
"Sarah, get into this box and keep quiet, understand?" Stanca instructed, his voice grave.
Ordinary pirates could be bought off, but these were the Wicked Wolves Pirates, infamous for their brutality and a village massacre. He couldn't risk them boarding.
Otherwise, they might not make it out alive.
"Daddy, what about you?" Sarah's voice trembled as she clutched his hand.
"I'll be okay. They're only after money... Now hide, quickly!"
Stanca urged her.
"Boss, we're out of cannonballs..."
A sailor burst in, panting.
"Understood, prepare for hand-to-hand combat!" Stanca commanded.
He then stuffed his daughter into the box, barricading it shut.
Striding out, he faced the chaos.
"Kill..."
"Ah..."
Thud...
Screams filled the air. By the time he emerged, a massacre unfolded outside.
"Cease fire!" Stanley's voice cut through the mayhem.
The pirates halted, turning their attention to him.
"Hahaha, look who's telling us to stop."
"Hahaha, scared now, are we? We're the Evil Wolf Pirates."
"With this, the captain's bounty could hit 30 million, right?"
"More like 50 million."
The ruthless pirates jeered, utterly dismissive.
"Are you the owner of this merchant ship?"
A gruff, deep voice rose above the din. A towering figure, over two meters tall, his torso a map of scars, stepped forward, his eyes glinting with malice.
In his hands, he wielded two massive battle axes.
He was the Evil Wolf.
"Fine, I'll give you all the money, just let us leave..."
Stanley inhaled sharply, his voice low and firm.
"Killing you would get me the money just the same!" Evil Wolf flashed a bloodthirsty grin.
Stanley's heart plummeted upon hearing this. It was hopeless after all!
"Hey... got any food?"
Out of nowhere, a voice completely out of place with the scene shattered the tension.
Stanley glanced over.
A ramshackle boat had pulled up before them, and a striking young man with long silver hair was eyeing them curiously.
"Young man, get out of here... These are pirates who kill without a second thought!"
Stanley warned urgently.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Kids these days sure are gutsy," Evil Wolf sneered, then commanded, "Kill them."
"Yes, Captain."
The pirates responded with a menacing laugh, advancing toward Esaki.
Esaki watched the scene unfold and nonchalantly shrugged. "Well, if that's how it is, I guess I'll just have to fend for myself."
The Australovenator, sensing its master's intent, let out a thunderous roar. Its powerful hind legs coiled and launched it into the air.
It lunged at them.
"Puff..."
"Puff..."
One pirate was instantly killed by a vicious bite, while the other was nearly cleaved in two by the Australovenator's razor-sharp claws, blood spraying in all directions.
Bang, bang...
"Roar..." The Australovenator was a top-tier predator, every inch of it a weapon. Its several-meter-long tail whipped ferociously at the pirates.
"You're asking for it!"
Evil Wolf bellowed in rage as he saw the young upstart dare to challenge him, swinging his battle axe with a howl toward the beast's tail.
