C2 A Powerful Australianovenator!
"Captain, there's an island up ahead!"
On the azure sea, a ragged canvas sailboat made its way, its mast adorned with a flag emblazoned with crossed swords and a skull.
Atop the mast, a pirate clad in tattered garments, his skin a deep shade of tan, hollered down to the cabin.
A towering figure, two meters tall with a muscular build and a centipede scar stretching three fingers long at the corner of his left eye, emerged from the cabin, exuding a menacing presence.
"Any sign of a village?"
Mudou strode to the ship's bow, his tiger-like eyes fiercely scanning the approaching island, his voice raspy with inquiry.
"Seems like there isn't one," replied the subordinate, hesitantly.
"Hmm?"
Mudou's eyes widened and his brow furrowed as he snatched up a telescope to take a closer look.
"Is that a kid? Head towards the shore!"
Spotting someone on the island's beach, Mudou bellowed the command. His fury was already sky-high after being pursued by a Pirate Hunter; this was a chance to unleash his wrath.
"Aye, Captain."
...
"Does this mean I can summon any dinosaur?"
Esaki's eyes sparkled as he gazed at the last chance for a free summon, brimming with excitement.
The first unheard-of dinosaur had already significantly boosted his strength. If he could summon a Tyrannosaurus, how powerful would that be? He was suddenly full of hope for this world.
As he prepared to summon, he caught sight of a ship drawing near.
"Pirates?"
His eyes sharpened, his body coiled ready for action.
The Australovenator beside him sensed its master's mood and rose to its feet, letting out a roar as it fixed its ferocious gaze on the approaching pirate ship.
Thud!
The pirate ship made landfall.
"Captain, there's also a dinosaur," remarked a gaunt pirate trailing behind Mudou as they disembarked, his eyes greedily fixed on the Australovenator.
"Perfect, it can serve as food," Mudou remarked with a savage grin.
They approached Esaki.
"Boy, is there a village on this island?" he demanded, his eyes filled with menace.
Esaki surveyed the pirates and responded firmly, "I don't know."
"You don't know... Is this dinosaur yours?"
Mudou sneered, eyeing the Australovenator that was glaring back at him with hostility.
But this time, Esaki offered no reply.
"Kid, you've got guts, staying so cool in the face of an executioner like me..."
"But usually, the cool ones end up dead~"
Tormond let out a sinister laugh as his hand reached for the dinosaur.
In his mind, the frail-looking child before him could be snuffed out with a mere pinch, but first, he had to deal with the dinosaur.
"Roar..."
The Australovenator reacted quicker, issuing a roar and snapping its jaws at him.
"Hahaha, the Captain's a big-time pirate with a ten-million bounty. This dinosaur would probably get smashed with a single punch."
"I'm curious how the kid managed to tame this beast."
"I just love the Captain's brute force."
The other pirates watched with a spectator's glee.
"Pfft..."
Suddenly, a spray of blood splattered across their faces.
All the pirates stood frozen, unable to believe the scene unfolding before them.
They watched in horror as their captain's upper body was severed by the dinosaur's bite, his blood staining the ground crimson.
Esaki, witnessing the carnage, felt his stomach churn. He turned away and took a deep breath.
"The captain... is the captain dead?"
"Run for it!"
"Let's get out of here!"
The remaining pirates, gripped by panic, turned tail and fled.
The Australovenator, after spitting out its mouthful, let out another roar. Its muscular hind legs kicked fiercely, propelling its massive frame in pursuit.
Esaki fought back his nausea and forced himself to watch.
He made no move to stop the Australovenator; these were pirates who had sought his life.
If not for the Australovenator, it might have been his end today.
And he... if he was to survive in this world of pirates, he had to embrace its ruthless laws.
