"Are you a navigator?"
He stared at Gaimon, his surprise evident.
"Yes... Yes, I am."
Gaimon nodded, his nervousness palpable.
It was unexpected. He had spared Gaimon's life out of curiosity, wondering how the world's main character would fare without so many plotlines. Besides, Gaimon was just a minor figure; killing him or not made little difference. But discovering Gaimon was a navigator was an unexpected bonus.
Now, although he could roam the seas freely, he lacked a sense of direction, drifting aimlessly. But with a navigator, he would have purpose and direction, which meant efficiency.
"From now on, you'll be my navigator."
Esaki's face broke into a smile as he addressed Gaimon.
"Yes, sir!"
Gaimon responded, bowing his head, unable to refuse.
"Take care of his head, and then check your pirate ship for any valuables."
Mounting the Australovenator, with the little gorilla perched on its head, Esaki led the way with Gaimon trailing behind. This odd trio vanished into the forest.

On the coast of Treasure Island, aboard the Kasha pirate ship.
"Not a bad haul, three million Belly." Esaki's smile widened as he looked at the money in the chest.
Three million Belly was enough to summon three dinosaurs.
His current Belly count was over twenty-three million.
"Let's do three random summons."
He accessed the summoning interface of the system.
Random Summon: 1 million
Specific Summon: 10 million
He selected Random Summon.
The interface transformed, revealing a massive wheel with dinosaur images spinning before him.
The large pointer in the center began to whirl.
Di, Di, Di...
The pointer slowed to a halt, landing on a dinosaur with a chicken-like head.
Ding! An Oviraptor was his reward.
As the sound faded, a gray-skinned dinosaur resembling an ostrich materialized before him. The Oviraptor's claws were elongated, akin to chicken claws but significantly longer, and its back was a shade of brown.
The Oviraptor emitted a piercing screech.

He looked at the dinosaur's attributes and was left at a loss for words.
What good are these attributes?
He certainly couldn't rely on them in a fight, and they might not even measure up against a formidable pirate.
The 10% of attributes he got was hardly better than none at all. Shaking his head, he proceeded with another summon.
The spinner on the wheel whirred into motion once more.
Ding! You've obtained a Wukongopterus.
As the announcement ended, a dinosaur resembling a giant pelican materialized above the Oviraptor.
It was a mere 30 centimeters tall.

What in the world? What kind of creature had he summoned? Was it just for show?

It must have been a reward from the system for his first summon that he managed to call forth an Australovenator.
