C6 Fingerprint(1)

Liu Feng and Zhang Sanfeng were catching up with each other, chatting away as if they could never run out of topics. It had been a long time since they'd last seen each other, and their conversation was filled with a warm familiarity.

Ever since childhood, Liu Feng and Zhang Sanfeng had shared everything with each other, and now was no different.

"That teacher is really beautiful, Feng. Are you smitten?" Zhang Sanfeng teased, well aware of Liu Feng's taste in women. To Liu Feng, a mature woman like her was irresistible.

"Humph, that bewitching teacher is so beautiful, who knows if she's used Phantom arcane or just makeup. She might even be an old lady underneath it all," Liu Feng chuckled.

You're the old lady! Your whole family is old ladies! What does this kid know? I'm not wearing any makeup! Zhuang Qiushuo fumed silently from behind them.

Just wait, I'll show you! Zhuang Qiushuo tiptoed stealthily behind Liu Feng, who was still engaged in light conversation with Zhang Sanfeng, and with a mischievous grin, she kicked him.

Liu Feng only felt a gust of wind before a force hit him from behind, sending him tumbling to the ground face-first. Someone kicked me! It had to be Zhang Sanfeng; he was the only one there!

Liu Feng glared at Zhang Sanfeng in anger, but seeing his friend's bewildered face and innocent eyes, he doubted that Zhang Sanfeng was the culprit.

"Feng, why did you fall?" Zhang Sanfeng asked, a mix of confusion and alarm in his voice. He was clearly just talking to Liu Feng when he inexplicably fell to the ground. It was as though an invisible hand had pushed him.

"Sanfeng, someone's here. Use the wind element to sense our surroundings," Liu Feng urged, feeling that something was amiss. He and Zhang Sanfeng stood back to back, cautiously. Since accepting that they were in an arcane Plane, Liu Feng had come to believe that anything, no matter how bizarre, could happen. Arcane magic knew no bounds!

Meanwhile, Zhuang Qiushuo stood behind them, covering her mouth to stifle her laughter. The sight of Liu Feng's flailing made it seem as though he was about to bounce right off the ground. Little fool, this is a school, not a place for conjuring winds. Are you expecting to borrow some from Mr. Zhuge?

"There's no breeze, Feng."

"I'll create one!" Liu Feng reignited the flame, but this time, he didn't cast it outward. Instead, he hurled it above his head, commanding, "Explode for me!"

A resounding boom echoed as a stunning red spark ignited overhead. The intense heat from the flame caused the air pressure to plummet, drawing the surrounding air towards Liu Feng.

"There, Feng!" Zhang Sanfeng immediately sensed something amiss with the wind. It was as if an invisible force was hindering its flow, and he pointed it out to Liu Feng.

Zhuang Qiushuo was taken aback. Most students would instinctively think that fire arcane could only be used to scorch demons, but Liu Feng had ingeniously used the flame's heat to alter the airflow! Zhuang Qiushuo wouldn't have been surprised if it were an experienced arcanist or soldier, but Liu Feng was merely a novice in the study of arcanism! His proficiency was astonishingly fearsome!

But in the next instant, Zhuang Qiushuo's thoughts came to a standstill.

Liu Feng lunged with a punch towards the spot Zhang Sanfeng had indicated. He stumbled, lost his footing, and his fist opened into a palm as he toppled to the ground once more.

This time, however, Liu Feng didn't encounter the ground's chill and solidity, but rather warmth and softness.

"It's so soft," Liu Feng remarked, oblivious to what had just occurred.

When he looked down, Liu Feng's gaze met Zhuang Qiushuo's enchantingly beautiful face, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She had never allowed a man to touch her before, and now, a mere student... He was asking for trouble!

"Pervert, do you have any last words before you die?" Zhuang Qiushuo's lips curled into a smile that sent shivers down one's spine, her voice as chilling as if it came from the depths of hell.

Still lost in the pleasant sensation, Liu Feng only registered the icy voice as it seemed to cut to his very core, causing him to shudder. That shudder led to another inadvertent pinch. Looking down, Liu Feng was taken aback by the sight—waves upon waves, too much to grasp with just one hand, nearly causing a nosebleed.

Cold sweat streamed down Liu Feng's forehead as he suddenly remembered his older brother's advice: complimenting a girl can never go wrong in a pinch!

"You embody an unexpected blend of grandeur and gentleness, Teacher Qiushuo. Your name suits you well," Liu Feng said, after careful consideration and with utmost sincerity.

Zhuang Qiushuo was taken aback, her cheeks flushing pink all the way to her ears. She couldn't believe Liu Feng's audacity – not only had he been bold enough to hold her hand, but he had also insulted her!

"Smack!"

With one slap, Liu Feng was sent flying off her.

Feeling a mix of rage and humiliation, Zhuang Qiushuo strode over and delivered another fierce slap.

"Smack!"

The air seemed to solidify, leaving only the crisp, resonant sound of the two slaps to reverberate through the classroom.

Now, Liu Feng's left and right cheeks bore symmetrical, crimson marks from Zhuang Qiushuo's slaps – the harshest she had ever given in her life. Liu Feng and Zhuang Qiushuo locked eyes, glaring silently at each other.

Liu Feng inwardly cursed, frustrated by her violence. It was just a couple of accidental touches, and he felt just as wronged. After all, she had kicked him first.

The next moment, Liu Feng's hand burst into flames, and with a swift motion, he sent a burst of fire between himself and Zhuang Qiushuo.

"Boom!"

Smoke billowed out. Liu Feng had used Magicka to create a smokescreen, causing minimal harm.

Seizing the opportunity, Liu Feng sprinted away, calling out, "Sanfeng, run for it! I'm heading out first!"

Sanfeng internally scolded Liu Feng for his lack of honor and ran in the opposite direction. After a short distance, realizing Zhuang Qiushuo wasn't in pursuit, he stopped and it dawned on him – he hadn't touched her, so why was he running?

...

On the streets, a peculiar sight unfolded: a man in athletic wear, his face adorned with two distinct palm prints, dashed ahead at breakneck speed. The prints, indicative of an encounter with a fiery-tempered beauty, were as vivid as a blood-red lotus in bloom. Trailing behind was a woman, exquisitely dressed and in high heels, in a relentless pursuit.

It appeared that the palm prints had been made by the woman trailing behind.

Onlookers snapped photos one after another; such a sight was indeed a rarity.

The "click-clack" of high heels sent a wave of panic through Liu Feng.
