C2 Grade One Cyclone

Immediately, Yun Buhui stood up and glanced behind him, only to break into laughter. He had braced himself for some terrifying creature, but it turned out to be nothing more than a large rooster. This rooster, however, was the size of a goose and strutted around, fluffing its feathers and clucking incessantly.

Picking up a stick from the ground, he tossed it toward the rooster, saying dismissively, "Scram." To the rooster, this seemed like a clear challenge.

"Cluck, cluck, cluck!"

The rooster responded with a flurry of squawks, puffing up its feathers dramatically. To Buhui's astonishment, the bird suddenly took flight and darted towards him with its beak aimed to peck.

Buhui nearly laughed at the absurdity. Having been raised in a mountain village, he was no stranger to chickens. He'd encountered some feisty ones that would peck at people on sight, but no matter how aggressive, they were still just chickens.

As the rooster approached, Buhui stood his ground, fists clenched. Just as the bird reached him, he sidestepped and delivered a powerful punch to its head. A smirk crossed Buhui's face, followed by a shriek of pain.

"Ow, that hurts!" The moment his fist connected with the rooster's head, it felt like he had punched a rock. He was lucky not to have broken his hand. Cradling his fist, he hopped to the side, howling in agony as tears welled up in his eyes.

The rooster gave Buhui a puzzled look, probably wondering, "What's wrong with this guy? I didn't even touch him, and he's yelling?"

When the rooster flapped its wings and came at him again, Buhui, wiser from the previous encounter, chose not to meet it head-on. This was no ordinary bird; it was like a stone. So, as the rooster made another pass, Buhui turned and fled swiftly.

Yun Buhui's speed was no match for the rooster's. He had barely taken a few steps before the rooster overtook him from behind. With a fierce flap of its wings, Yun Buhui was swept up as if by a whirlwind, hurled through the air, and landed with a thud on the ground. Picking himself up, he felt pain all over, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

Despair had already taken hold of his heart. He was no match for the rooster with his current abilities. Escape was futile; fighting back, impossible. Facing death seemed to be the only option left, as he saw no other way out.

But in that moment of utter hopelessness, the voice of the Almighty Immortal Cultivation System boomed in his ear: "Comprehend the Heavenly Dao, derive the Mysterious Yellow. Congratulations, host. You are now eligible to advance to Grade One Cyclone. Would you like to advance?"

Yun Buhui, engulfed in despair, had not expected to hear that voice. With a near roar, he responded, "Advance!" As the words left his lips, a formidable power burst forth from within him. Suddenly, he felt a wellspring of strength fill his body. The fear he had felt for the rooster vanished, replaced by a glint of ferocity in his eyes.

Channeling all his newfound strength into his fists, Yun Buhui's gaze was alight as he fixed it on the rooster charging towards him. He concentrated every ounce of his power into his fists, and as the rooster lunged, he sidestepped and landed a heavy punch on its head.

This time, Yun Buhui was ready for the pain. He was determined to fight with everything he had. The rooster, which had previously regarded him with contempt, was caught off guard. The punch that had once been ineffective now sent the rooster flying. Yun Buhui quickly followed, his speed greatly increased. In no time, he caught up with the rooster and unleashed a barrage of furious punches.

The formidable rooster that had once sent Yun Buhui fleeing for his life now lay lifeless after a series of his powerful punches. With Yun Buhui's final blow, the rooster was definitively dead. But in the moment of its death, a faint chime sounded, and Yun Buhui noticed two items had appeared beside the rooster's body.

"Congratulations to the host for slaying a Stage One Vicious Beast, the Ring-eyed Chicken. You have received a random reward: a Grade One Qi Refining Pill and a Grade One Spirit Weapon, the Spirit Storage Bottle." The voice echoed just as Yun Buhui had dealt the fatal blow to the rooster. Realizing the potential value of these items, he quickly pocketed them.

Yun Buhui then picked up the rooster he had defeated, intending to bring it home to help nourish his mother's health. The thought of his mother, however, quickly overshadowed his fleeting joy. He was concerned about her current condition. With a furrowed brow, he addressed the emptiness around him, "Can I return now? I urgently need to fetch a doctor!"

Despite the fortuitous encounter that might alter his destiny, Yun Buhui's mind was preoccupied with his mother's wellbeing. He couldn't entertain thoughts of anything else until he knew she was safe.

"As you wish," the voice responded. A glow enveloped Yun Buhui, and a wave of dizziness washed over him. When he regained his footing and his senses, he found himself back on the same hillside. Breathing a sigh of relief, he dashed at full speed toward Dr. Hu's house.

Deep down, Yun Buhui suspected that the Qi Refining Pill he had acquired could be beneficial to his mother. But he was reluctant to take the risk; the stakes were too high if he was wrong.

The few miles to the Huang Family Shop were a short distance for him now, and in mere minutes, he had arrived. When he reached Dr. Hu's house, he was met with a locked door, which left him utterly frustrated. It was clear to him that Dr. Hu had anticipated his visit after the phone call and had locked the door as a dismissive gesture.

Under any other circumstances, Yun Buhui would never resort to such shameless behavior. But with his mother's life hanging in the balance, he was left with no choice but to implore for help. "Dr. Hu, is anyone home? Dr. Hu, are you there?" Buhui pounded on the door, calling out relentlessly. Yet, his cries seemed to have the opposite effect; as soon as he raised his voice, the lights inside the house were promptly snuffed out.
